Honey Salt
Golden Tiki creator Branden Powers selected this restaurant as the place close to his home that he frequents most often. We get it. A foremost reason to be a repeat customer is the way husband-and-wife team (and Strip veterans) Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau offer upscale dining with off-Strip prices, in a casual and relaxed setting.
Honey Salt’s creative menu is packed upscale American fare like blue crab fondue, cast iron Branzino with shaved fennel, bacon-wrapped farmhouse meatloaf with tomato jam, and the mighty kale salad. The brunch menu is also packed with craveable comfort-food: cornflake-crusted banana foster French toast; fried chicken Benedict; your choice of sweet (strawberry) or savory (poutine) Dutch pancakes.
And don’t skip the Brookie. It’s a combination brownie/cookie that Vegas Revealed co-host Dayna Roselli calls "one of the best desserts ever created." (Celebrity Chef Scott Conant said something similar on Cooking Channel.)
