Ri Ra

$ $

One of the most popular pubs in the valley, Ri Ra was also named a top spot for sipping whiskey by journalists Elaine and Scott Harris, and as one of the best places to pair great beer with great food by local beer guru Bob Barnes. And Food and Loathing’s Al Mancini calls it the best place in Las Vegas for watching soccer or rugby.

Constructed from a pub meticulously restored in Ireland then shipped to Las Vegas, almost every inch of the walls is decorated with Irish bric-a-brac and salvaged material. Authentic Irish and British fare includes UK favorites like beef and Guinness stew, shepherd’s pie, bangers & mash and house-brined corned beef & cabbage.

More than 30 beers can be found here, including UK brews such as Old Speckled Hen and O’Hara’s Irish Red ale, local creations like Able Baker Chris Kael Impale’d Ale and Bad Beat Hoppy Times IPA, and Belgian gems like Delirium Tremens and Lindemans Frambois. There are over 400 whiskeys from around the world, with over 100 from Ireland. Their house band, The Black Donnellys, hails from Dublin. And while they love to celebrate Raiders and Golden Knights games, it’s their willingness to open early for European and South American rugby and soccer that set them apart as a sports bar.
