McMullan's Irish Pub
McMullan’s fared well with the experts surveyed for Neon Feast. Bob Barnes, Gayot’s writer for Las Vegas, says it’s “as authentic as you can find in Las Vegas,” while Carver Road Hospitality vice president of marketing Bryan Bass says there’s “no place better for fish and chips or shepherd’s pie and a pint of Guinness.”
The pub is family-owned and headed by patriarch Brian McMullan, a native of the Auld Sod. Classics such as house-made crisps, Scotch eggs, Diddy’s Irish Stew, Nanny Mac’s Shepherd’s Pie and bangers and mash are joined on the menu by fusionistic choices like Irish nachos, the Grand Irish Reuben and a jalapeno corned beef pasty, plus seasonal selections such as Cirque’s Irish Poutine and an open-faced meatloaf sandwich.
Not surprisingly, the beer selection here is top notch and heavily slanted toward Irish and UK brews, such as Smithwick’s Irish Ale, Harp Lager, Murphy’s Red and Wells Banana Bread.
McMullan’s also hosts Irish Premier League and Vegas Golden Knights broadcasts, has live music on weekends and each year hosts events that benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
