Sean Patrick’s Pub & Grill (Multiple Locations)

$
West Side Location

The menu and decor at the four Sean Patrick’s locations aren't quite as heavily themed as those at some Southern Nevada Irish pubs. The chainlet is owned by PT’s Taverns and has many of the same specialties, such as the company’s signature burgers, pizzas, chicken wings and tenders. But there’s enough here for anyone hungry for a taste of the Auld Sod.

They could start with the Countryside Potato Soup, rich with cream, bacon and cheddar, and the novel Drunken Skins, graced with Guinness-braised corned beef, dark ale mustard and horseradish cream. Tastes of Eire also are evident in the battered-cod fillets with sea-salt fries and coleslaw, the classic Guinness-braised corned beef with cabbage and boiled potatoes, and the Reuben sandwich on marbled rye. And there are few better places to indulge in a properly drawn Guinness Stout, or maybe a taste of Jameson straight up, on the rocks or in an Irish coffee (or mixed with Bailey’s and dropped into Guinness for an Irish Shot).

That combination was enough for Californian (and nationally renowned food writer) Andy Wang to list these suburban watering holes as his only recommendation for Irish cuisine in our valley – and to land it on our list.
