Mae Daly's Fine Steaks & Whiskeys
While located on Las Vegas Boulevard, across from The STRAT, Mae Daly’s was created by hospitality veteran Richard Femenella, with local residents in mind. And he’s found plenty of fans among them, including SecretBurger.com’s Jolene Mannina and celebrity chef Rick Moonen.
The ambience is best described as history meets modern elegance. Instead of rustic antiques, new “artifacts” appear as they would have back in the 1930s. There are black and white tile floors, tin walls and ceiling, crystal chandeliers, rich dark wood, plush couches, and large windows providing natural light.
All the meats are USDA Prime, and options include Wet Aged, Dry Aged, 100% Grass-fed, American Wagyu, and Certified Japanese Kobe A5 Wagyu (one of only a few restaurants in Las Vegas to carry this distinction). Looking beyond steak, options include Mediterranean Branzino served with a golden raisin agrodolce sauce, Vegan Pasta Primavera with roasted peppers and seasonal vegetables and Lobster Thermidor, the classic French dish with a shellfish stuffing and cognac tarragon creamy sauce that legendary chef André Rochat collaborated on.
Dinner doubles as theater thanks to a chef’s “stage,” where you view the final touches to a meal that is then delivered to your table by the chef who prepared it
