Ping Pang Pong

Located off The Strip in the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, Ping Pang Pong has served authentic Chinese cuisine for decades, making it a favorite with locals, and those tourists who are “in the know” enough to find it. Authentic dishes from China include clay pot rice and congee. And dim sum is offered at lunchtime, with all the dumplings, steamed buns, veggies, noodle dishes and vegetables the cart can carry.

Food blogger LeAnne Notabartolo says, “Ping Pang Pong is my go-to for dim sum. The new room has made for shorter wait times and the offerings are always solid.”

She’s not the only one who feels that way. When we asked for dim sum recommendations, this place was named by Adam Sobel (Executive Chef and Partner Mina Group), Anthony Curtis (Publisher Las Vegas Advisor), Elaine and Scott Harris (journalists, TV hosts, sommeliers), Crystina Nguyen (restaurateur), Philip Tzeng (food blogger), Lorraine Blanco Moss (Chef/Host, Exit Spring Mountain), Robert Kachelriess (writer at Thrillist), Lindsay Stewart (foodie Instagrammer), Heidi Rinella (Las Vegas Review-Journal restaurant writer), and Jolene Mannina (Secret Burger) – just to name a few.
