Pronto by Giada
Fans of Giada de Laurentiis who can’t get a table at her eponymous spot at The Cromwell
-- or are looking for something a little more casual and/or budget-friendly -- gravitate to this fast-casual/grab-and-go/wine bar just off the casino at Caesars Palace.
It promises “Italian fare in a fast format” during the day, with breakfast selections such as Giada’s Oatmeal, with extra-virgin olive oil, orange and almonds, or the Antipasti Breakfast Sandwich with bacon, prosciutto cotto, mortadella, piquillo pepper mascarpone and provolone.
Later in the day, choices include hot sandwiches such as Giada’s Signature Muffeletta, lemon-grilled cheese panini, or mixed grill of cacciatori chicken, citrus salmon or Tuscan steak.
Plus there are sides such as roasted cheesy potatoes, soups such as pomodoro meatball, salads such as a baby kale Caesar, bagels, pizzas, pastas and desserts such as the chef’s justly famous lemon-ricotta cookies. And gelato, sorbetto and hybrids such as the gelato cannoli.
The wine bar, which is open from noon to midnight, offers 40 wines by the glass, plus flights and bar bites.
