Tekka Bar, one of the eclectic offerings in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ innovative Block 16 Food Hall, is where The List magazine editor Emmy Kasten likes to go for quick, grab-and-go food.
Tekka specializes in handrolls, which are made to order counter-side while guests watch. Choices include the signature Tekka Tuna Roll, with the restaurant’s signature spicy sauce, or rolls made with salmon, toro, yellowtail, bay scallops, lump blue crab, North Atlantic lobster, Alaskan king crab or vegetables.
Can’t decide? Choose a set of three, four or six rolls, Yellowtail sashimi also is available, as is a soy paper substitute for the wrappers.
Sake is another specialty of Tekka Bar, with junmai on tap and five others available. Nitro sencho and matcha green tea also are on tap, as is Truly Wild Berry, Kirin Ichiban and Sapporo. And you can always add a sake bomb if you choose.
