Wicked Spoon
A top buffet pick of five survey respondents, including food blogger Leanne Notabartolo and chef host Lorraine Blanco Moss (https://fromchefwithlove.com), this buffet at The Cosmopolitan has distinguished itself as offering a nontraditional all-you-can-eat experience.
While there are the usual buffet menu suspects, examples of menu items you probably won’t find elsewhere are shrimp & grits with Cajon butter sauce, sopressatta pizza with Calabrian chili pesto, beef & lamb gyro with tzatziki and duck wings with soy caramel glaze.
The unique fare continues at the grill station with the likes of beer can chicken with tangy mop sauce, roasted root vegetable with celery root puree and chili oil reduction, bone marrow with short rib and lemon gremolata and charred cauliflower with piquillo aioli and herbs.
Desserts are a mix of surprises, like warm bourbon white chocolate bread pudding, orange creamsicle mousse cones, chocolate banana rice krispy treat and key lime tart.
