Yard House (Multiple Locations)
This chain’s name comes from its early days, when it was best known for offering beer in a narrow glass that was a yard long. Today Yard House restaurants are more known for the oodles of beer taps, which at most locations number more than 200.
While Yard House once got a bad rap for not carrying enough local beers (or, in some cases, any), that is no longer the case. In fact, the location at the LINQ Promenade has a printed local beer menu that lists about 20 from eight breweries, and a beer flight of six local beers of your choice is also offered.
Despite its volume of beer choices, these establishments are considered more of a casual dining restaurant than a craft beer bar, and the extensive menu has something for everyone in your group. The menu offers items from a variety of cuisines with a collection of appetizers (such as grilled Korean BBQ beef or queso dip), tacos, pizzas, burgers and entrees (like spicy jambalaya or whiskey glazed salmon).
