Harlo Steakhouse & Bar
$ $ $Harlo is what you get if you could take an indulgent, modern steakhouse from the Strip and transplant it to Downtown Summerlin. The menu is in great hands with a kitchen team led by Chef Gina Marinelli (the creative force behind local Italian favorite La Strega), who takes great pride in sourcing fantastic dry-aged cuts of steak from around the country. Most are grilled over an open flame, producing a smell that is often detected from the parking lot.
Marinelli also gives special attention to showcasing caviar, pasta, side dishes and seafood. "The in-the-shell Scallop Rockefeller appetizer is a must-try," says Rob Kachelriess, Las Vegas writer for Thrillist. "The cocktails are extravagant and the service team is on point."
The dining room sports a timeless art-deco design that will prove to be endearing to locals for years to come. Harlo has its own valet service, which is rare for an off-Strip neighborhood restaurant (and saves a battle over Downtown Summerlin parking spaces).
