Local food writer Bob Barnes, who has been covering the local craft beer scene for a quarter of a century, named this Palace Station sports bar as his favorite place to watch a big game, noting that they offer “plenty of bar food favorites, an outstanding beer list, and reasonable prices.” And he’s right on all counts. The menu offers a selection of wings, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, tacos and steak. And the state-of-the-art tap system offers 20 options by the pint or pitcher, with more than two dozen bottled beers also available.
It's all served in a large, spacious room with vaulted ceilings and 30 HDTVs positioned in a way that everyone has a clear view of several screens. And on big game days, they offer raffles and contests that reward customers when certain players score. Between games, you can shoot a game of pool, play some foosball or run a few dollars through a video poker machine.
Golden Knights games are always broadcast. And they open at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during football season, so you can settle in for a long day of college or pro games.
