Distill – A Local Bar (Multiple Locations)

Distill embodies its tagline, “Classic Tavern Fare With A Delicious Culinary Twist,” at its nine locations. All offer 24/7 gaming, upscale food, house-made cocktails, beer, wine and private banquet rooms. And executive chef Jeff McCarthy puts his spin on comfort food with dishes that Thrillist writer Rob Kachelriess feels are “underrated” by many. He’s not the only fan of the cuisine, with Cuisineist’s Elaine and Scott Harris and social media sensation Lindsay Stewart (@thelasvegasfoodie) all naming it a top spot to dine while playing video poker.

For those sitting at the bar looking for munchies, the Bar Tapas, Appetizers and Poker Bites include shareable treats. Crispy Fried Calamari Straws are calamari steaks hand-cut and fried to a perfect golden brown and then served in a crispy wonton basket with a mango curry emulsion for dipping. The Distill Guinness Burger is the house beef blend, char-grilled in a Guinness glaze with sriracha and Guinness candied bacon, topped with crispy fried red peppers, shredded lettuce, house-made Guinness aioli, on a fresh-baked brioche bun. Sandwiches, salads, entrees, sliders and wraps round out the menu. Satisfy that sweet tooth with Distill’s Bread Pudding, Chocolate Brownie Sundae, or Confetti Deep-Fried Oreos.
