Winnie & Ethel's Downtown Diner

Winners of The Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Giveaway put on by real estate developer Dapper Companies, Mallory Gott and Aaron Lee opened Winne & Ethel's in the Huntridge District of downtown Las Vegas in 2023. Named after a grandmother and great-grandmother from their respective sides of the family, Winnie & Ethel's is the epitome of a 40's diner -- complete with chintz curtains, family photos and a counter straight out of the movies.

Contributor Bob Barnes loves Winnie & Ethel's for its comfort food. And the menu includes classics such as country fried steak, benedicts, biscuits and gravy, meatloaf, tuna melts and pot roast. More modern takes are also available, such as sticky bun pancakes, babka french toast, and a pickled egg salad sandwich.
