Juan's Flaming Fajitas (Multiple Locations)

This restaurant is well-named. The first thing you’ll notice upon entering is the scent of roasting meat wafting through the air as the fajita plates are ignited with a shot of vodka and oregano. The signature dish comes with grilled onions, bell peppers and a choice of steak, pork, chicken or shrimp. And the extensive menu has just about any other Tex-Mex favorite you can think of, including quesadillas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, huevos rancheros, carne asada, tostadas, chile relleno and flautas. Meals include soup, a choice of rice and beans or steamed vegetables, and chips and salsa. So there is no way you will leave hungry.

Considering the reasonable price points and the large portion sizes, it’s not surprising there can be an hour or more wait during peak times. If you’re at the Henderson location, on Water Street, you can kill some time waiting for a table at Lovelady Brewing next door. (Or, if you’re having fun there, call in your order and have it delivered to your table at Lovelady.)
