Amore Taste of Chicago (Multiple Locations)

Amore is the kind of non-descript pizza place you find in countless strip malls in countless communities across the country – offering pizzas pastas and sandwiches for takeout or dine-in. It’s carved out a niche for itself in Las Vegas, however, by offering an authentic collection of Windy City classics that can’t be found elsewhere in the valley – at least not under one roof.

Food blogger and Instagrammer Philip Tzeng (@LasVegasFill) singled out its deep-dish pizza when listing it among his favorites. But that’s just one of the Chicago-style pies available here. True pizza connoisseurs will also want to try the thin, round cracker-crust bar pies (cut into squares), as well as the stuffed pizzas.

As great as the pizzas are, make sure not to overlook the sandwich section of the menu. Highlights include Italian beef, your choice of either Italian or Polish sausage, and a legit Chicago dog (“dragged through the garden,” as expats might say), that Las Vegas Advisor publisher Anthony Curtis lists among his favorite hot dogs.
