Herbs & Rye
Don’t be fooled by the nondescript standalone building located west of The Strip; Herbs & Rye is viewed by many as the epicenter of craft cocktail culture in Las Vegas. Walking through the doors is a step back in time, to a world of classic cocktails prepared in their original state, with old-school attention to detail. Open from 5 p.m. until the early morning hours, many of The Strip’s top bartenders drop in to decompress after work, socialize and grab a bite at the late-night Happy Hour pricing.
The full kitchen can prepare steak, pasta and flatbreads, along with shareable dishes such as sliders and wings. One of its specialties is Pork & Figs: blue-crusted pork and organic mission figs topped with a fig glaze and served with garlic mash. Cuts of beef and pork include bone-in, flat iron, filet, ribeye and New York strip.
Herbs & Rye is a big hit in the Late Night (after midnight) category. Branden Powers and Adam Rains of the Golden Tiki, marketing consultant Tom Wszalek, Lip Smacking Foodie Tours creator Donald Contursi, restaurateur Crystina Nguyen (This Mama’s House) and Secret Burger and Vegas Test Kitchen founder Jolene Mannina all recommend it.
