Stray Pirate

Stray Pirate is a small, cozy tiki-style bar without being overly done or decorated. Neon Feast's Al Mancini calls it "one of [his] favorite tiki bars, despite the fact that there are no tikis."

No tikis, but it does have dogs! The decor tells the story of pirates who become cursed and turned into dogs on the high seas. In fact, the menu dedicates itself to "Sarge the Schnauzer and all pets who bring mischief and magic to our lives."

Located in the Arts District, Stray Pirate is the brainchild of longtime Vegas barman Chris Gutierrez. It is a cozy, darkened yet welcoming bar with approximately 15-20 cocktails at any given time, including lower-sugar options and mocktails. Writer Mitch Schneider considers it the best dive bar.

It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and opens at 2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Drinks are priced from $14-$18.
