Roma Restaurant & Deli
Las Vegas Advisor publisher Anthony Curtis finds Roma Restaurant & Deli a fine place to grab a sandwich.
“Both their hot and cold sandwiches are good and there's a big selection, but I usually get one of their Italian subs, which are the best in town,” Curtis said, noting that there’s some variation in Roma’s Italian subs. (Note that there’s another Roma Deli on Sahara Avenue; Curtis said his choice is the original.)
In cold sandwiches, you could choose the basic Italian, which is stacked with ham, capicola, mortadella, Genoa salami and provolone in addition to the customary lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar; the Sicilian version uses dry salami instead of Genoa. Or you could choose prosciutto with mozzarella and peppers, or turkey, mortadella or roast beef with provolone.
Hot sandwiches are chicken or eggplant Parmesan, meatball and mozzarella or sausage and peppers. Or choose a non-sandwich option such as a soup, salad or pasta dish.
