Ciao Vino
Nestled inside Boca Park Fashion Village, Ciao Vino is the breakout Italian outpost helmed by executive chef Joel Myers, formerly of Vetri Cucina and Osteria Fiorella.
With both crystal chandeliers and sizable bar TVs, Ciao Vino effortlessly balances the prestige of a high-end restaurant and the approachability of a local hangout. It’s a combination that quickly made it a favorite hangout of multiple industry veterans, including restaurant manager/sommelier Bernard Erpicum (Aureole, RM Seafood, Prime Steakhouse, Olives, Villa Azur), who told us it was his favorite new restaurant in 2024.
The menu is a blend of authentic staples and adventurous selections. Classics include juicy beef, pork, and veal meatballs with crispy ricotta, as well as veal parmesan. Take a walk on the dark side with a buttery squid ink fettuccine laced with nduja (a spicy, spreadable Italian sausage) and Dungeness crab. Or go old-school with a pizza like the Diavola, topped with spicy salami and garnished with oregano. And you’d be remiss to pass up on the ricotta zeppola doughnuts, filled with citrus curd and limoncello and served with a very rich and succulent vanilla ice cream affogato.
