Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish
Relative newcomer Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish at Durango Casino & Resort is, like just about every Station Casinos steakhouse, an excellent place for an upscale steak dinner. But one item is receiving a lot of attention.
The likes of Emmy Kasten (Modern Luxury), Neon Feast’s own Al Mancini and award-winning restaurateur James Trees (Esther’s Kitchen, Al Solito Posto) all agree that Nicco’s 28 Burger is one of the best burgers in the city. You read that right: burger, not steak.
“It is by far the best burger I’ve had in my life,” said Las Vegas born-and-raised Michael Uriarte, a longtime nightlife and marketing figure and realtor. Nicco’s 28 Burger is a custom housemade Japanese and Australian Wagyu blend smashburger with cheese and special sauce and served with duck fat fries.
But if you want more than a burger, Nicco’s is what you’d expect from a modern casual steakhouse: top-notch steaks, seafood and service – with music and televisions in the dining area as well as in the front lounge. For a touch of luxury, try the seafood twers or caviar service.
Pro tip: Save room for dessert because the large chocolate cake is next-level decadence.
