Limoncello

Limoncello gives the West Valley an Italian restaurant that mixes a unique space with touches of spectacle and thoughtfully prepared cuisine. The menu is a showcase for Carla Pellegrino, a Las Vegas favorite and Top Chef alum who formerly ran Bratalian, a fusion of Italian and Brazilian flavors in Henderson. This time around, she's focusing on Italian staples for the Summerlin crowd with modern tweaks and quality ingredients.

The Bianco pizza keeps it simple, balancing the sweetness of prized Prosciutto crudo San Daniele against crisp, bright baby arugula on a chewy wood-fired crust. Crispy guanciale adds texture to a flavorful Spaghetti Carbonara. Under the direction of Pellegrino (brought in as a partner in late 2022), Limoncello is giving greater emphasis to steaks and continuing to spotlight fresh seafood with the day's catch displayed on ice in the dining room – something more common on the Strip than in neighborhood restaurants. On any given night, you can choose among red snapper, branzino or dover sole with the latter deboned tableside. The fish is topped with garlic butter sauce and served with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. If available, the thick and meaty grilled prawns are worth the splurge.

The restaurant has a towering foyer-like design with black and white images of the Italian coast and glimpses of vintage movies projected on the walls of a private dining room - an engaging environment to match the quality of the food.
