Jinya Ramen Bar (Multiple Locations)
Neon Feast contributor and Thrillist writer Rob Kachelreiss was just one of a number of participants who recommend Jinya as one of the top spots in town for ramen, with Kachelreiss noting that it’s “a chain, but quite good.”
Jinya points out that the two important ingredients in ramen are the noodles and the broth, and it gives its six signature broths the attention they deserve, simmering them for more than 20 hours.
The classic tonkotsu ramen is available in the original version or premium, spicy or black spinoffs. There also are shrimp or chicken wonton ramens, regular or spicy chicken, yuzu-shio (salt) and spicy umami miso, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.
There are non-ramen dishes as well. The chef’s special is a karaage bowl. Small plates include gyoza, Brussels sprouts tempura, caramelized cauliflower, spicy tuna and salmon cones and pork spare ribs. And a Kobe hamburger steak, salmon and tuna mini-tacos, rice bowls and curries are available.
