Freed's Dessert Shop Downtown

Tourists and recent transplants to Las Vegas may know Freed’s Bakery through the reality TV hit “Vegas Cakes.” But longtime locals know that the third-generation family-owned and operated bakery has been creating exquisite pastries, cakes, cookies, cupcakes and delicious delights since 1959. Either way, the place (now with multiple locations) is synonymous with Las Vegas.

Choose a slice of the famous strawberry shortcake, Parisian chocolate cake, or classic cannoli. Bailey’s Irish Cream cupcakes will add a buzz or show love for the team with VGK and Raiders cupcakes. Other goodies include Cake in a Jar, French macarons, Ice Cream Cakes and Rugelach (flaky cream cheese dough folded with a variety of delicious fillings).
